The project was one of the 3 first web GIS systems ever developed and installed in Greece. The web application was based on “Mapflash”, a web GIS platform fully developed by our company.

The geographic data provided by the Municipality was in ESRI shape files format. 
The application included a number of layers (like parks, restaurants, parking, hotels, and many others) illustrated on the map along with spatial and alphanumeric search capabilities. 
The system provided a backend application through which the administrators had the chance to add/remove or edit points on the map.
