The hospitality and F&B labor market requires extreme flexibility, handling complex dynamic data such as flexible hourly wages, variable working hours, and multi-tier organizational hierarchies. Teamploy required the development of an advanced double-sided marketplace. Employers needed the capability to onboard multiple hiring managers, establish shifts (ranging from a single day to extended periods), and independently configure schedules and compensation. On the other side, job seekers needed an intuitive profile builder to showcase specialized hospitality roles (from Runners and Sommeliers to Pastry Chefs and Sous Chefs), experience, and certifications, backed by a mutual review system following shift completions to foster ecosystem trust.
Ideate
KMB was entrusted with the technical implementation of the Teamploy ecosystem. Moving beyond a strict engineering handoff, our team worked in close collaboration with the product's designer to refine and finalize the ready-made designs, ensuring maximum visual fidelity and optimized user flows before development began. Our frontend engineers then transformed these finalized blueprints into a pixel-perfect, highly responsive reality. To power the marketplace, we engineered a robust database schema and role-based access control to accommodate distinct user types (Company Admins, Hiring Managers, and Workers) while integrating a subsystem synced with Email, SMS, and Viber gateways for instant shift notifications.
